Brief Bio:
Why did you decide to become a teacher?
My aspiration to become a preschool teacher developed during the time when my daughter was three years old and started to go to preschool. Being a full-time mom at that time, I often volunteered in my daughter’s preschool. I was totally amazed to watch the preschoolers, to observe the articulation of their thoughts and their capability to explore through daily activities. It is then when I decided to become a teacher myself.
How would you describe your relationships with students?
Respectful
How would you describe your teaching style?
My teaching style is to encourage children to learn from the environment, making their own discoveries, as well as participate in instructive teacher-directed activities. I would say my teaching style is a balance between free learning and teacher-directed activities.
What’s the best thing about teaching at Endeavor?
The low number of students in the classroom allows me to pay individual attention to each and every one of them which helps my children to grow properly.
What are your hobbies/passions?
I love reading, attending Zumba classes, swimming, and of course spending time with my six and half year old daughter.
What is your favorite quote?
In the classroom my favorite quote is “Stop and listen.”
